This Friday is National Vietnam War Veterans Day. A commemorative holiday in the united States which recognizes the sacrifices that the veterans and their families made during the Vietnam War. It is also a day to give proper recognition to the men and women who returned home from that war and didn't receive a proper welcome home. It became an official holiday in 2017 and is now known as the National Vietnam War Veterans Day. To that end I, my family and friends want to personally thank those for their service to this great nation. For those that came home and our brothers who did not.....a simple heart felt Thank You.
Proud to have had the honor to serve

To my Vette brothers and sisters that were over there-thank you and welcome home.
I NEVER allow one of you to walk by me without a kind word, a, "thank you, and "welcome home".
Lest I forget Old Sgt Maj (USMC) in Omaha. You are one cantankerous bastard, but I have the utmost respect and admiration for you.

Thank You all that served. My father was a door gunner on a medevac. He never talked about it. I saw two pictures of a Huey with the 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace of spades on the nose.
