Under body/chassis condition

Hey Guys,

My Z06 is coming up to 15 years young and still looking amazing, but recently noticed that the under body/chassis is starting to pit and is looking little tired.

Am I right to say that the chassis is zinc protected?

Has anyone done anything about treating the chassis or paint it?

Just hate seeing it tired and looking for ideas.

Doesn't look that bad to me either. If it bothers you that much you can always put it up on jack stands and detail / paint the problem areas.

Scrub down all the affected areas with scotchbrite, mask the floor panels and paint with POR 15. It will out live the rest of the car.

How many miles do you have on your Z? The car I picked up last year has 30k miles on it and the frame is still all black and looks near new. I have two tiny little spots of surface rust under the damn battery box.
