Painting Calipers

Painting Calipers
Would there be an issue in painting the entire caliper and not masking off the back of the pads? I think it looks better painted than the 2 black circles.
Seems everyone leaves them black. Many thanks.

Not something I would do, but hey, it’s your car - do what you want. IMO, it would look very sloppy.
By the way, I would remove the brake pads before painting the caliper.

Agreed it'll look sloppy. Someone painted my wilwoods in a similar fashion and it looks like crap imo
I plan to fully disassemble and repaint them properly. I hate that the bolt heads we're also painted red. It just doesn't look right.

I agree with the above - I would not paint the back of the brake pads.
