Default Visor bulbs

Ok guys, I bought new LED's to replace my old bulbs in my 2004 CE convertible. I think I have tried everything and I just can't seem to get the old bulbs out. Does anybody have and ideas??? I know someone on here posted that one thing you don't want to do is break the bulb because it becomes a way bigger problem. HELP!!!!

No experience with an 05’ (C6), but I believe you meant an 04’. When I did this mod, 2 out of the 4 bulbs exploded into a PITA mess. I had to use needle nose pliers and picks to get the remainder of the mess out of the socket. On the last 2 bulbs I used duct tape and pinched it onto the exposed part of the bulb and left a little tab of tape to pull on, lifted up and the popped right out. Some guys have removed the visor and dismantled it to get the bulbs out. But I found the duct tape trick to be the quickest and hassle free way of removing them. Good luck.

Default Visor bulbs

I wish that I had used the duct tape trick when I replaced the bulb in my gear shift consol. What a pain in the azz that was. The bulb shattered, then the socket shattered etc. Just be smart and try the duct tape.

ps...I just replaced my sun visors. They suffered from the floppy ear problem. Easy to replace and only a little over $100.

I have Shale color Visors and can't get them no where. I sent my shale visors to corvette america and had them refurbished. If I knew that it was so hard to get the bulbs out i would have asked them to replaced them. By the way the Shale visors came out great. But I sure like to replace them bulbs.
