I just wanted to add some info for anyone searching at a later date for a solution.
While installing my aca headlights I quickly realized those retaining clips that slide over the actuating arm pin are a one time use. I bent them back to flat and slid one on, and it didn't feel tight or secure. So I slid on over to harbor freight and found an assortment of clevis pins that are the perfect solution.
The 5/16x2 pin is a direct fit and will stay put until you take it out.
Hopefully this helps someone down the road. So much great info on here, so it seemed a shame to not share a tip.

Nice to know, thanks for posting! There is a 30% off coupon for anything under 10 bucks this weekend, so I might as well pick up a box.
EDIT - just pulled them up online and they are $11.99 lol
Still a good reason to put some in my tool hoarding stash.
