Default Forgestar CF5 Wheels?

Anyone running these on their C5? Read alot about these. What are your thoughts? I am looking to do a 18/19 setup. Pics would also be great so I can see how they look on the car.

Thinking about these myself over the f14s, I love the f14 also but seems like the CF5 are a little less popular and match the 90s theme a bit better. Very tough decision between the 2 though

I really like the CF5's, with the Brushed finish option.

Can you confirm those are CF5's, and what finish and size? Looking to upgrade to something similar.

Yes, these are Forgestar CF5s, 18x9.5 and 19x11. I had them painted GM Sandalwood Metallic. They compliment my Light Oak interior nicely.

18/19 is definitely the right way to go if you want bigger rims than OEM.

It's a different wheel than your asking about but I can tell you that my car with Forgestar cf5v at 19/20 is certainly a bit much with how low profile the tires end up needing to be. The fronts are 175/30 and rears 305/25 IIRC which is within 2-3mm of overall height of OEM wheels plus tires.

Adding in an edit: I have CF10 wheels, not cf5v.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. It's been a long search for the right wheel set-up for my Polo Green Metallic C4, and I think this it.

Cheers!

Here's 19/19 on front/rear widebody. 18/19 fits the C5 better IMO.

Just understand that a base C4 does not have the same amount of room inside the rear fenders, as a C5.

I do, which is another factor in making this difficult. I'll likely stay 9.5 wide all around with 18/19 stance. Really like the CF5 look!

Thanks for the comment!

Just a suggestion but an 18x9.5 front with +56 offset and a 19x10 rear with +50 offset would be a good starting point. That rear spec would allow a 295 width tire.

Not mine, I have the black FRC but you get the idea. It's my buddies but he sold it for a basic C6.

indeed looks very nice with the green and light oak. I may do something similar for a navy blue set of wagon.... I can see the barrel is black right?

Correct. The spokes and outer rim are Sandalwood, while the barrels are satin black. Gives the illusion of a larger wheel this way.
