This is how I search for specific things I'm looking for.

Use the "Search" option near the top of the forum:

- click Search and a menu opens
- select advanced search
- In the keywords box, enter what your looking for. I entered plug wires
- under the keywordbox there is "Search Entire Posts" - change it to "Search Titles Only" (if you do not do this, you will get way too many hits!!!)
- in the Search Options area go to the "Search in Forum(s)option and select "C5 General"
- now click the Search Now button

It will now list what it found. Below is the results of this search.

You will find that the "search" feature here is not that good. Better to use Google to find the threads you want. A lot quicker too.

This times 100. Almost all forums are better searched by Google even if you don't like google.

You can either use the forum's search function (you may have to play with the correct key words to get what you want) or use Google, but a number of forum members have gone with the GMPP red wires and have been happy. I had them on my '00 and '03 C5 and they worked well and were reasonably priced.

I use Google to find specific items that I want to buy, but the Search feature on the Forum is good for finding threads about how members have used certain parts and shared their opinions about them. You can also find good tips on installation and product life.

For plug wires, the red GM Performance Parts plug wires (p/n 12495519) are very popular
Amazon Amazon
has them and they are sold by Cultrag Performance, a CF Supporting vendor. The Amazon price is currently $77 and change but if you contact Cultrag, they may have a better deal. Might be a good time to consider new plugs when you swap out the wires. AC Delco 41-110 is the part number and also available at Amazon.
