Front License Plate Delete?

Front License Plate Delete?
All, I'm not sure if this goes here are not, I'm new to the forum. I just bought an 04 commemorative edition z06 and it comes with the mount for the front license plate which I think is hideous. What do you guys do about that? Every pic I see in this forum has the front license plate delete that says corvette on it. If your car did not come with it where can I get one? Ideally one that's already painted lemans blue would be what I'm looking for. Any idea on cost and where to look?
Thanks
Thanks

They don't have one in the Blue you need listed.

Thanks to your guys' help I've found a site that does it and they have options for what I believe are all the stock colors including the Lemans Blue I need. I''ll put the link here for anyone else who has the same problem as me. Now the question is: is it worth $240?

You might ask other Corvette owners in your area get stopped for no front plate? Here in WA, a front plate is required but some owners don't mount a front plate. No front plate does give an LEO reason to stop you and start asking all sorts of questions. Then there is the matter of a ticket.....

I've used these guys in the past. I realize they are pricey but they do good quality work. There is sometimes a long wait because they do the painting. I'm told that they try to schedule batches at a time. Their match was very close on my mill. Yellow.

Ok, I'm glad you agree on price. If it was a more common color it probably wouldn't be too hard to find. This is my first corvette (owned 2-3 weeks now) and it's just turning into driving weather here so I'm not plugged into the vette community at all locally but my understanding is the front plate is almost never used as a reason for a stop.

I'm very particular and if i examine it closely in the sun i can see a slight difference mainly due to the original paint being 14 years old. The new filler plate has been on for two years now and i honestly don't even notice the difference now. Different colors of paint may fade differently so i can only tell you my experience.
If i needed another one, i would go the same direction because it gives the car the look i wanted. The suggestion to find a blank one and see if you can find a painter to match the color is worth checking out but in the end i was happy with the direction i went.

Your wording on what you need is a tad confusing. It's not a "delete" panel. All C5 Corvettes new came with the front plate "filler" which was in place on the car regardless of where a C5 was sold. You would then remove the two screws in between it and the fascia to remove the filler panel and install your plate If you bought a car that didn't have the filler installed when sold then the likelihood that the original was lost by the previous owner is a strong possibility (personally I don't know how one loses or discards something like that).
If you live in a front plate state (guessing Colorado by your previous post) and want to run a front plate legally you can buy a clear filler plate from a few vendors that retains the shape of the fascia. Owners take it a step further and often paint the outer lying area to have the plate still exposed.
Here are a few examples;

I recently purchased a used front plate filler for my 2000 c5 through someone on this site. It was in near perfect condition. Maaco agreed to paint it for $60.

I have a Le Mans Blue coupe. Live in NJ where front license plate is required. Just said F it and put the filler on. Looks 10x better. Haven’t been pulled over yet.

Only if $240 is no biggie to you. I wouldn’t have bought it. I got lucky and found it at the bottom of a box that I was given when I bought the car under the old air intake that was taken off the car. Was pretty excited to say the least.
