So I have new set of bilstien B6 shocks, when I am trying to torque the top hex to spec it is stripping the head, what did you all do installing the bilstiens? Please provide help
20 lb-ft is basically "hand tight and not even that tight"; you're stripping the hex with that little torque? Can you double check that your torque wrench is working right? Show a picture? I'm having trouble imagining a 6-point socket stripping even, like, an 8mm nut at so little torque.
I seen it takes 20 foot lbs 6 point hex socket on torque wrench.
Do you have an inch lb torque wrench? What type of foot lb wrench are you using? some breakaway/click style foot lb torque wrenches don't give you a good click at low torque, so you are possibly over torquing it? convert it to inch lb's or 240

Yeah, to what Steve said. 20 lb-ft is basically the lower end of my 3/8" torque wrench. I know 20 lb-ft won't be super reliable.
If you don't have a wrench that is, at minimum, 10 or 15 lb-ft, which would generally make the 20 lb-ft area more reliable - I'd recommend a 3/8 ratchet and make it nice and snug by hand but don't hulk it. 20 really is not a lot.
