I had the Hankooks on my car for a number of years and really liked them. I do not think you will be disappointed.

When I replaced my car's tires, a few months ago, I really wanted to go with the Michelins. Jack and many others were happy with Hankooks so I thought I would give them a try.
So far, I really like their performance and have not regretted their purchase.

Hands down, the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are the best tire I've ever driven on. Not only did I put them on my 02, I also have them on my Talon TsiAWD.

You are adding 30mm to your tread width. Are you keeping the rim size and aspect ratio the same?

Something to consider. Different brand tires will have different sidewall stiffness. I went from 265 OEM F1 Supercars (Z06 stock front size) to 275 Continentals and the turn in felt mushy. The next set of Continentals were 255 series and feel significantly better. I kept the rears at 295 for both sets.

new wheels 18x9.5 front and 19x11 rear can't keep the aspect ratio, one of my concerns ?? old front 18x40x245, rear 19x35x295

have had Michelins on my trucks for years !!!!! replaced our RE 71 Auto X tires on the 02 Z 06 with my set of wheels and Michelins, what a difference in the car, My reason for this thread !!! two rear Michelins cost the same as the whole set of Hankooks !!!!! have had the complete drivetrain out of my car, new heads, cam clutch, misc. do-dads on the engine, M12 trans, new radio, now new wheels, more HP need bigger tires !!!

I had those hankooks on an Infiniti G37 coupe I sold 2 years ago, and they were absolutely awesome. Read the reviews on tirerack and you will get a great idea of what you would likely get out of them.
