I saw a thread on the extension parts needed to do this ,
Im not trying to plug a company on here but that company that sponsors Greg Anderson got my parts delivered to my door the Day
After I ordered them. shipping was standard ground from 120 miles away.
less than $100.00 no sending unit

They're a small operation selling a small number of parts. They need to pay for hand-assembly, probably, and they need to make it worth their time to even offer this product. While I am sure you can build this yourself for probably $50 in parts, if you paid a shop to do it they'd likely put you back near that $185 price.

ImprovedRacing sells prefab hoses. This looks like -6AN to my untrained eye, from a tiny photo, so let's go with that.

1 foot, no firesleeve, one 180 degree fitting, one 45 degree fitting (I think), stainless steel, comes out to about $101. Unless of course the fittings aren't quite right, which I wouldn't know unless I had a kit in my hand to compare against. The other $84 goes to knowing you're buying the right thing. Not a particularly expensive tax if you want a plug-and-play solution and don't want to worry about it.

I created my own kit using about $50 in parts including the sender.
