Heated mirrors?
Is there a switch in the car to turn them on or are they always on?

Not every car re-sold comes with an owners manual, but the manuals are available online (for my '01). https://www.corvsport.com/wp-content...ers-Manual.pdf
"Rear Window Defogger REAR: This button turns the rear defogger and the heated outside mirrors on. The light on the button will come on when operating. The system automatically shuts off after approximately 15 minutes. If further defogging is desired, press the button again and it will operate for about seven and a half more minutes. The rear window defogger operates only when the engine is running."
Many of the cold weather features of the C5 are considered useless by 90% of owners. In my case, I can vouch for the ability of the rear view mirrors to defrost. The Corvette was demonstrably engineered to be first and foremost a car. I just wish that my car had seat heaters.
