Electron blue???
Good morning!
This could be classified as a poll question. I'm just wondering how many C5 owners have the electron blue color?? I've never really been a blue car person but there is a 2002 vert with less than 30,000 miles about an hour and a half from me in that color. It has a clean Carfax and the pictures look really good. For whatever reason this color is starting to grow on me. For the people who have the color, how much do you like it?? Do you have any regrets after purchasing the car color-wise? I realize how subjective this question is, but I'm just wondering how many people on this forum have that color. Thanks so much for your help! I'm in the early stages of searching for my first Vette and I am in my 60's. I'm still going back and forth between a C5 and C6. Have a great holiday!

I like blue alot but I like the Magnetic Red 2 better because it goes with black interior and black wheels better....
There nice, you need to see a car in person, the best top down C5 I have seen is Mag Red with black interior but I like Xmas ( not the bill however )and it looks like a sled ....

EB is the color I really wanted but they're tough to find. It was only offered in 2002 and 2003 if you didn't know. Since I only wanted it with black interior, it narrowed my search even further. I did find an 02 vert, but it was pretty beat so I moved on. I like LeMans blue from 2004 also, but absolutely hate the shale interior and I'm pretty sure you could only get it that way (unless it was a Z06).
It's a gorgeous color and not as common so I say go for it if you can.

I feel it's the best color a C5 was made in. I searched and searched for one back in 2002 and finally found one in Des Moines. I've owned it since.

My previous car was an '03 Z06 in Quick Silver. While that was my second-favorite C5Z color, Electron Blue was what I always wanted. When I searched for my next C5Z, it was a no-brainer that I would only look for a clean Electron Blue example. I am more than happy to have found one!
Pictures really don't do this color justice. I always try to take pictures at different angles and in different lighting conditions to show how the paint seems to change regularly. Sometimes, it looks bright, sometimes it looks dark, sometimes it looks a little "blurple". Here are a few pictures to give you an idea...

It was 27,000 miles which is what I'm looking for. He has a 2005 silver convertible but that has close to 70,000 miles and is $3,000 more than this one.

What is nice about Electron Blue is that it is a very vibrant color, but its not obnoxious or too in your face.. its a perfect balance of taste, and style
Would have been my second choice over Torch which is slightly more in your face..
Bill aka ET.

I'm about to start my search, and Electron Blue is my front runner for color choice, although it's neck and neck with Torch. I agree with ET in that it's a good balance of color.....yet not as much in your face as a bright Torch Red.

I like the color but black interior with a vert can be a problem during hot summer weather if the car is parked outside with the top down. You'll fry trying to sit down in it. I'd avoid the 2005 mentioned earlier.

When I bought my C5 back in 04 and asked my brother about what color, he told me that "yellow says it all....that is their racing color"..
So I went with MY and have enjoyed the car all these years later....
That said, I really do love EB.....
It's an absolutely beautiful color for any C5.....

My car is red, but I would have bought a blue one if I'd found one close by. The car you have pictured is gorgeous.
