Would 300 dollars a set be better or worse ? Just saying.. I find that I can not afford to buy anything too cheap. It just costs too much money in the end.. Too good to be true? I don't think so. But then who am I? Go and buy them and let us know how it works our for you. I would not put a 100 dollar wheel on a kiddie Car.
Those were actually pretty popular wheels ten years ago or so. I nearly bought a set myself. They're decent wheels, and if memory serves they used to run about $1400-1500 a set. I am pretty sure I found the ad for them on ebay, and they look legit. Some more searching via ACE's website shows they're a retired wheel, so possibly clearance inventory showing up on ebay? I'd proceed with caution though as the seller on ebay has less than stellar feedback, and I'd want to be absolutely sure these aren't some cheap knock off. If they're legit, then $400 is a really solid deal for them being brand new.
Search around on here. There's LOTS of guys who have had them.
Good looking wheel......$100 shipping.....says one piece alloy. I assume that they are not forged. or billet aluminum. Might be good for a cruiser, but I dont think that I would launch on a drag radial. Be nice to put one on a spindle and check for wobble , runout etc. Back in the 60's, Appliance Plating made some good looking wheels that were cast aluminum. Similar to ET 5 spokes. $100 bucks a set. lug nuts and all. Ran 'em back then without a second thought. Dam winter salt would melt them....

I ran a set in Hyperblack finish before my current set of CCWs. I received many compliments as they matched up with the Spiral Gray paint really well. Plus, due to the C5 offset no longer being offered, I was able to resell them for more than I originally paid for them, so a win-win mod for me.
These wheels were on my Z06 when I bought it. They are decent quality visually. The chrome is good. They generally look good on the car, in my opinion. I've had compliments at shows. I'm not racing to replace them, but I am shopping. For $500 shipped, seems like a pretty good deal. I'm considering it just for a backup plan in case I damage one.....
