Creaking noise under hard acceleration

Creaking noise under hard acceleration
I’m getting a fairly loud and nasty creaking noise under hard acceleration around 4-5k RPM+ in first and second gear. Sounds like its coming from the rear end but it’s hard to diagnose. Anyone dealt with this? It’s a 6 speed.

I’m assuming that you’ve had a professional mechanic listen and actually HEAR the same noise you’re hearing, correct? If he has heard the noise did he put your car on a lift and check all the bolts on the rear suspension to see if any are loose or incorrectly torqued down. Once in awhile just loosening everything in the back and then torquing it back in the correct order and ft/lbs will stop a noise under load. It’s so hard to identify a noise under power while it’s at rest on a lift. Noise from a car can be annoying at the very least . and potentially a warning of a bigger issue.
