Approaching oil refinery.. put up windows and push "auto" on the A/C. Then push the button to circulate the air from in cabin only; do not pull in air from outside since near oil refinery. The correct button is illuminated and a/c seems to be circulating cabin air, as requested.
2 minutes later, look down and see the button for pulling outside air is illuminated...?!
This has happened twice in a row now.. not sure if this is user error or if my A/C controls are acting up..? Anyone have this issue?
Just a BAG (blind assed guess)....but.... if the ambient outside temp was lower than the interior temp, maybe it switched over to outside air to be more efficient?
Or, conversly, if the outside air temp was higher than the interior temp and you had it set for higher than the interior temp?
Only one I can think of is Bill Curley to answer this one.....maybe.....
