Weak start C% base model

Weak start C% base model

I've had my battery for 3 1/2 years in my 2004 C5. Recently, it took me 2 tries to start it; it would always start instantly. I noticed a weak first start about a week ago, until this time when it took 2 starts. My question is should we say its the battery or another component, such as alternator (no weak lights), or another component. Can a diagnostic check at my mechanic determine this?

Chances are its the battery. Tske it to the nearest advance or auto zone. They'll check it free of charge.
