Finally got my Vette out of hibernation yesterday, with new shocks, now I’m strutting around with Bilstein B6, I gotta say they feel great, a good upgrade from the base stock junk, the drive quality feels great, the car feels more planted to the ground, I feel more security when I do spirited driving, corners great, feels better when I wanna drive fast, going 90 feels better then before. But I just drove them 1 time, but I am impressed with the Bilstein B6. Now I need a alignment and soon two new rear tires. Peace out
Silverwolf - I'll be in the market for some B6's in the next month or so. Did you do the C6 Z06 shocks or the standard replacement shocks? Can you post the part numbers and where you purchased them? Did you do the install yourself? - Thanks John
Nice! Did you do the work yourself, and if so, how difficult would you say it was?
I did the work myself, it wasn’t bad bad, it was just trying to figure out how to get my tools in the right position to take the bolts loose, and for me torquing to spec was a real pain in the butt.
