Default E Brake Handle Install

As the thread says, I have no clue where to begin with this. I have a leather wrapped handle I want to put on that compliments the interior. Not sure how it is exactly supposed to go on. Does the dash need to come apart? It did not come with instructions, just the part.

Slide the e-brake boot back until the hard plastic trim on the handle you're wanting to remove is exposed. There on that hard plastic will be a bolt you need to remove in order to slide out the old handle. Re-install your new handle and reverse the process.

Side note on the e-brake handle. Does everyone's handle almost point at the back window when fully engaged? Mine works but I would like to get the slack out of the cable. I assume that there is an adjustment somewhere back near the brakes. Maybe my cable is just stretched over time. The car is new to me so I really don't know the history and past owners...

Youre ebrake should def not point towards the back window. I would recommend getting that looked at! Cheers, mate.
