Slowness experienced...(sad)
Took a coworker out for lunch on the C5 and I have to admit it's the first time I feel it kinda slow doing a pull. I must be getting used to the power and the extra weight felt like an anchor. I weight 200lbs and my coworker easily weighs 250+. I felt my pull took forever, even 1st gear felt long. He was still impressed, but secretly I felt so slow...
Not looking for answers or anything, just a shoulder to cry on.

I hear ya. It's tough to dump money into toys, but there's worse things to spend it on. That's how I justify my spending, anyway.

Tough to spend money on our toys? You are in the wrong game & on the wrong forum

My C5 feels like a F-15 after driving my wife's Trax. Drive a slow car for a bit and come back to us.

For a fraction of the cost of a new ride you can fix your problem with a nice supercharger install. A great power maker with tons of grunt, dependable as the day is long, retains all your driveability and you don't have to tear into the innards of your perfectly good LS motor. I can just about guarantee it will put a smile on your face and fix that "slowness" feeling. Best wishes!

I had a similar experience this week. Saw a friend out at lunch. He saw my car and wanted a ride so I took him for a quick spin. He is big and tall probably 225+. It didn't feel the same mashing it in 2nd gear, seemed like it took longer to get the revs up. He was loving it and very impressed, I felt like there was something missing.
