C5 - Black

Was the black color used on the C5 the same for each year? Meaning a black panel from a 99 would be the same color as an 04? (Not considering paint fade)

It was code 41 black on all years

From what I have read there were different minor variations over the years so chances are trying to use a blanket paint code will result in a mismatched panel.

Different blacks have different codes. All corvettes from 1986 have been black paint code 41. Black 41 is black 41 is black 41. It's all black 41, no variation unless there was an issue on the paint line.

With the same paint code, it should be the same but the only real way to see if the paint will match is to put things side by side. If there is a minor variation, a repaint would solve that.
