Borla Xpipe...what a huge difference in sound
Just put on a Borla Xpipe to match my existing Borla stingers this weekend. All I can say what a huge difference in sound it made. My old stock H pipe when idle, revving in idle or some acceleration it sounded like keys rattling or ping pops. I always knew the Xpipe solved the motor boat sound but it got rid of the rattling key sound.
If you are on the fence for one I say get it one or some other brand of one.
Took about an hour to put on.

I had the exhaust jingle sound with my 2002 Z06. There was a TSB on the issue.

Glad you fixed it with the X-pipe.

I recently installed the Borla cat back S type too. I don't hear any jingling, but I get the popping and gurgling on deceleration. Do you have the popping?....and did the X-Pipe change that?

Nice mod. An X-pipe can smooth out the exhaust flow and provide a better sound for the exhaust.

Hey Bravo- Thanks for the feedback. Glad you got the sound you wanted. Wish I could hear it in person. The popping and gurgling I get may be partly due to living at 7,000 feet in elevation. Haven't found an exact answer yet. Have fun with your new found sound!!
