Soooooo... There is probably an obvious answer for this stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway. I've been wondering for a while now, what is the purpose of that black inner piece of fabric that acts like a flap that covers the panel over the waterfall?
Has anyone found the cure for this piece of fabric flapping around? Mind just started doing it, surprised me, don't want to cut it out. Their must be a fix for the elastic straps or whatever?? Thanks, Dave
RJW, thanks, no haven't had time to delve into it but that sounds like a good idea as long as I can avoid any of the painted surface on the waterfall, must be a way, I'll post back. Thanks again, Dave
Did you notice any difference with anything happening to your glass? To me it seems like it would only protect the glass IF someone had put something in the trunk that would hit the glass, because other than that happening, the only thing underneath the glass is the interior carpet...
Actually, IMHO, the flap isn't there as much to protect the glass, as it is to protect the rear window defogger wires. They're easily damaged if something rubs on them. Just my 2 cents....
