Yes, the Chevy dealership was extensively damaged and lots of cars/trucks were totaled. The tornado went through the center of town, damaging a number of businesses and tearing roofs off homes. Could have been a lot worse and no fatalities.
The dealership had four new C7s (1 Z06 and 3 GS) in the showroom so I would find it hard to believe that no damage was done to them. Plus they had 2-3 used Vettes out on the lot.
More storms expected today and tomorrow plus we are facing flooding from the Missouri River. Lots going on here right now.

Who cares about the the Vettes. I'm sorry but there are a lot of lives turned upside down. God bless them all and all still to come in the path.
Felt fortunate while watching and helping folks and young kids try to collect some of their scattered belongings. So far, no deaths in Jefferson City and lower than expected injuries. Many lives turned upside down though.
My Dad was in the big one that came through Joplin a few years ago. It took the roof off of his house while he was in it. He was lucky he wasn't killed. Growing up in Kansas, I experienced my fair share of them, but they never damaged our house. They will give you the pucker factor when they go through, I guarantee that!
I grew up in Nebraska and have been through a few tornados myself. They really are one of the worst things one can have happen to them. I feel for you all and send prayers your way. Hope you can all recover as well as you can soon.

Hope everyone is safe.. My family was in the one that hit Alabama a few months ago. They were all injured but fortunate, since their neighbors (including small children) lost their lives.
