Anyone know of someone who still makes a sequential turn signal harness for the C5? I find the, for C6 but not C5. A couple of vendors told me if someone was making them, they would be selling them.
They are not showing them on their page, but they have some left over harnesses. I bought mine in June of last year.
If you have LED taillights like I do you will need a hyperflash harness.
Yup, my bad. I didn’t even check to see if you could add it to the basket. I sent them an email so see what they say.
I got a reply from web electric that said they were presently "discontinued" as a light socket and harness set. However, they said their C6 splice harness (STS-2) for $100 could work. I'm probably going to wait and see if there's something else, as I don't have $100 to gamble on a splice-it system. Does anyone have this on their car, and could they share their experience?
I have the Webelectric unit on my AE and get all kinds of comments. Not as cool as three lights in sequence, but the HMSL comes on first (led) then the inside followed by the outside. Flashers are really cool.
I had the Afterthoughts/Web Electric unit and could not get them to work Company worked with me and when it seemed that nothing would work they refunded my money.
Wish I had read this 30 minutes ago before I ordered the 2-step universal kit from Web Electric. I guess the guy that had been making the plug and play for the C5 and C6 passed away and no one else knows how to make them. When the stock they have for the C6 is gone they won’t have it for either one. He told me it should work for the C5 but perhaps he didn’t know what he was talking about
Funny thing is I had one for my Challenger, don’t remember if it was from these guys or not but it worked great and it converted it to 4 (!) light sequentials.
On my attempt with this c5 we tried lots of combos, but nothing worked at all.
The one advertised on the site you linked is the exact same one offered on the webelectric site but the webelectric site is asking for $100, instead of $49 from the other afterthoughtsauto !
I just got an email form a rep at webelectric saying this particular splice kit is supposed to work for C5's. I might try it for $50, not for $100
