Can anyone tell me which is the better Skip Shift Eliminator to get for my '02 Z06? I've seen two types ... one without wires running between the connectors and the other with two wires running the connectors. Not sure if one is better then the other. Any opinions? Thanks!
It was extremely easy to hook up, the truest definition of plug and play. It took longer to get the vehicle in the air and secured with jacks than it did to install the plug.
A forum member was generous enough to send me his CAGS he was no longer using when I bought my Z06, however, you can purchase it on amazon.

Thanks for the link. So I guess my question is what are the two wires running between the connectors for? Just wondering why the other version didn't have those.
You can make your own for 5¢ You unplug the connector from trans and stick a resistor between the wires you just pulled out. A bit of electrical tape and a zip tie and you're done. Some folks also silicone caulk the empty plug on the trans. The resistor simulates the lockout solenoid so the computer still thinks it's there and functioning even though you just disconnected it. I think it is 2.2K ohm but look that up.
