Default What tires are you all using?

So my Forgestars should be here with the next few weeks, and I have started looking into tires. (265/35/18 front, 305/30/19 rear) I have heard good things from forum members about the Nitto NT555 G2's as well as Hankook's Ventus V12 EVO2's. What if any others are you all using or would recommend? The car is strictly a street car.

Continental Extreme Contact Sports. Great tires especially for the money and much cheaper than the Michelins which are also great tires.

Bridgestone Potenzas. I have 25K miles on them. They are great tires. Smooth, quiet ride, great grip rain or shine, are wearing really well and were inexpensive.

Have the Hankook Ventus V12's and for everyday driving are an excellent choice for the price. I have almost 40k miles on them and still some tread left.

I just put a set of Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s on my 99. Inexpensive ($610 for 4 after 60 rebate going on) and they come highly rated by not just Corvette owners. My car is stock and not tacked so these were a great choice for me.

BFG Sport Comp 2 A/S Tires. I don't like to put on only summer tires and I hate runflat tires.

answers can be all over the place depending on the power level, type and style of driving, under what weather conditions the car is driven, etc... those things need to be taken into account before you choose what tires to get

Me too. Also have a set of Goodyear F1 Supercars on wheels for a change of pace should I feel the urge.

Very happy with the Nitto 555s. Quiet, smooth ride, good traction. Will definitely buy another set. [my vert is a daily driver]
