Default Where to put Dynamat

Hey All,

I recently got 20 sheets of Dynamat for purposes of putting some around my speakers when upgrading, but I didnt really find anywhere solid to put the stuff. Now I have 20 sheets just sitting around. Where would be the best place/easiest place to put these in the cab to reduce road noise? Maybe around the rear wheel wells? Or would this just be a waste of time?

Thanks!

Haha I only say that because my vette makes a lot of road and exhaust noise. Not sure if dynamat would make a noticeable difference. I dont mind the noise too much, but it is a daily driver that I am in 1.5 hours a day.

Start with the doors. You will notice a nice solid quality ‘thunk’ sound every time you close them.

Finishing up my sound deadening project now. I recommend taking your time and doing the whole car vs. sticking some here and there as that likely will not help.

On the wall behind the seats I went double thick and that helped a lot
I need to order more to finish it next time I pull the interior apart.

I did this vs spotting it in random places. For best results full coverage is recommended.

oh man thats a lot of work guys! This is my daily driver and i got a 1 year old and a 8mo pregnant wife at home. No all day projects for me. My work gets done from 9p-12a (did end links yesterday!). Tunnel looks manageable though. I already put heat dampener under the center console when doing my stereo but I could go in and add some more. Maybe I will also do the space behind the seats as well.
