Looks like it could at least be a parts car. There is still honor in being a donor.

Years ago I bought a wrecked C3 for $500 that someone started to repair with a mako shark nose. Wheels and seats were stolen from his yard during restoration attempt. Nine months later I finished the car and flipped it to make a buck. Financially it would have been much better to part out the wreck rather than finish and sell it. There's more money to be made in parts that selling salvage/repaired vehicles so the owner is doing the right thing even if the picture is sad.

I bought a wrecked C5Z many years ago, although I learned alot about all aspects of the car, I wouldn't do it again. Cost way more than I could of bought a good car with a good title! The only thing that car did to save itself was go 10.3@133 in the end it was a great experience!!!!

C5 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
It just seems like some are parting out C5's, for hardly any reason. Hopefully, that doesn't bite us in the butt, someday.
