I'm looking for some advice on aftermarket seats in my C5 vert. I either need to rebuild my seats or get some new ones and have been taking a look at the Corbeau Evo X or A4 seats. I'm open to other options too, my biggest worry is that some of these look like they'd be super tall and look awkward in a convertible compared to the stock seats. Any opinions or pics from anyone here? Thanks!
Edit: Reworded the question for any aftermarket seats

Reason: Reworded to broaden the question to all aftermarket seats
Make sure you sit in whatever seats you end up buying. I have A4s and its ruining the car for me as of late. I've been trying to get stock seats in decent shape for six months now. Had I sat in the seats first I never would have bought them.
The very top of my Evo X's came out just a bit shorter than the stock seats after installing. Plus my vert is black and the light oak seat backs stood out like a sore thumb with the top down. The Evo X's look much better. My stockers are still sitting in the basement awaiting rebuilding 3 years later.

What is the issue with your A4’s? I’ve been thinking about Braum or Corbeau seats and am concerned about their comfort level and fit difficulty.

I'm not a particularly big guy (42 jacket size / 34" waist) and they're just too tight in the shoulders for me. I've got a little extra in the middle these days, but they're simply too narrow/firm for comfort. I will say that as the foam heats up, it conforms and they become comfortable, but the first twenty minutes just aren't awesome. Also, because the recline levers are inboard I can't seem to get a backrest angle that's fully comfortable for me initially.
Basically if I'm taking it out for a longish cruise on a weekend, they're fine, but a commute to work, they aren't what I want out of a set of seats. The stock seats have their flaws, but less flaws than the A4s for my comfort. As I've noted, they're annoying enough that I've been toying with selling the car. I have to believe that a better set of seats would drastically help. The problem is that right now there aren't any seats within 100 miles of me worth buying and I'm super hesitant these days to buy sight unseen because people's definitions of condition differ greatly from mine nowadays.
They may work well for you as there are many, many members on here that like these seats. I'd just HIGHLY recommend sitting in a set, if possible, before you purchase.
i would run a classified ad wanting to trade for different seats and see what happens. Another option is you could have the shoulder sections of your Corbeau seats reworked for better fit.
That’s what I would do.

I’ve had WTT and WTB ads up for at least six months at this point. I’ve got nothing but people wanting to trade wrecked black seats or getting pissed when I won’t sell my seats outright.
I’ve already had the bottom cushion lowered and I’m done with putting money into them.
They are black micro suede with dual locking sliders.
EDIT:
If you search my post history you will see both my WTB and WTT threads with photos of what I have and what I’m looking for.
I read your WTT ad and understand your frustration. Trying to find oem seats in your color combo is obviously not easy. If I see anything on facebook, I’ll let you know.
If I have that issue with new seats, they will go to my upholstery shop and be redone. Going back to the stock seats will not be an option.
