Newbie here (OregonDan). Just acquired a very nice '99 C5 and am looking for gold colored lettering to place in the dashboard and rear facia where "Corvette" is spelled out. Can anyone send me to a vendor for same? Thanks!!!

Many of the after market vendors carry them. Mid America Motorworks, Eckler's, to name a couple right of the top of my head.

I am not a fan of putting letter inserts on the dashboard. That’s the airbag and if it should ever deploy it could send shrapnel into someone’s face.

I think I understand, but that can happen with an airbag regardless of what's on it. I'm looking for the adhiesive tape kind, not the rounded metal with double stick tape, so thinking that's as safe as I'm going to get and still have the car the way I want it. As another thought, I virtually never have passengers...

I got my red vinyl dash letters from either RPI Designs or Southern Car Parts. It's been a while and I don't remember which it was, but both are reliable forum vendors. There are several other forum vendors that have them as well as mentioned above, just steer clear of Corvette Mods for anything.

I agree. The major vendors have lettering in gold if that is the color you want.
