Default issues with Stealth V3 Light Cannons

I purchased and installed these last October new from Radioflyer, car is kept in a cool underground garage 98% of the time (I live in Wisconsin). So far the car hasn't been outside much at all when it has been over 80*f out. Both the passenger and driver side lights have the same issues:

First you will notice that the sticky tape that goes around the edge of the black housing has come off around 3/4 of the housing - like heat has melted the adhesive.

Second you can't tell but the bottom-right corner of this housing, so the corner of each housing that is nearest the front corners of the car, are sagging down since there is no support there. This was very minor for the first few months (maybe 1/8") but it is getting much worse recently - now there is 1"+ gap between the black housing and clear lens in those corners.

Have others had these issues and worked out a solution? I wanted to ask here first before reaching out to Radioflyer because previous experience was he gets pretty busy and I didn't want to bother him with something the forums can easily answer (these forums can be very helpful).

Don't worry about contacting him, he's very responsive. He'll also send you new tape and seals. Yours are the only other pair of "angry eyes" halos that I have seen besides the ones that I used to have.

I have the Breathless Performance headlights. Same design just different style shrouds. However the Breathless inner frame that holds the light housings have a support post that keep the shroud from sagging in the corners. Will get some pics so you can see them.

Watch this video. It shows the install of the Breathless lights. You can see the support post that is attached to the light housing frame.

I can sympathize with you. Installed my SLC V3 about the same time, and I have the same problem with that 1/4" weatherstrip applied to the shroud. Not quite as severe as yours, but it is noticeable around the top corner. Possibly, the instructions should have suggested using Adhesion Promoter.

$10 for new weather stripping, he said heat and putting the stripping on under tension will cause my issues. I think I did install it while pulling it tight so this time I won't be doing that.

As for the corn sagging - he suggested improper installation or external pressure... I think it need support so I will be coming up with something like what the Breathless lights have.

I will post again when I have more progress for others to see.
