A4 wake up call
I have seen various post saying a tune really "wakes up the A4". What exactly do you mean? I know a tune can increase performance but why the apparent big change to the auto?

I had Chuck Cow tune my 98 A4 about 3 years ago. Only mods done to my car are Callaway Honker CAI, ported TB, and catback exhaust. His tune definitely woke the car up alot. He adjusted some things in the transmission as well and that made a big difference with how the car drove. My car does have 3.15 gears which will also be much better than the 2.73 gears that some autos have. Even if u dont have any major future mods planned, a good tune on stock A4 is stilla good investment IMO.

A friend sent me to a Corvette tuner. They removed the delay when punching, very annoying when on on I 95 in So. Fla & adjusted the shift points. Told me that I wouldn't recognise the car & he was right. Best thing I did.
