Default Trick Flow 485/460 Top End Kit?

Has anyone here ever used this setup?

485hp/460tq seems pretty good for such a small cam, maybe it's all in the heads? I like the idea of having near LS7 power without the problems big cams cause with driveability. This would be for a 2002 Z06. Thoughts?

No history with it, but I don't see any problems either!

Sounds about right, I believe it. This is crank HP, not wheel. Check out there other top end packages. I have the Trickflow cam .585/.585/228/230 and kicks ***. If I make roughly 470HP with stock heads (because I dynoed 400WHP and I assume 15%loss) then I believe it can make 515HP with heads (roughly 440WHP with 15% drivetrain) as Trickflow advertises. If you end up just wanting the cam, I recommend just get them at JEGS. Same grind, much cheaper.

I'm pretty sure their results were on an LS1, so would there be any difference on an LS6 which has a slightly different block or would the results be basically the same? I keep going back and forth on installing a SC or a good NA HC combo. In the few years I've had my Z I've become very used to the 405hp, so I'd really like to have more power on tap, something near 500hp, but also very reliable. I believe GM got it right with the C6 Z06 and 500hp. My Z is mostly used for weekend driving, but I want to get back into HPDE's since I have several tracks nearby like Sonoma Raceway, Thunderhill, Laguna Seca. Most people say a SC is not track friendly, too many heat issues, so I'm leaning more towards NA, and this Trick Flow setup is close to where I'd like to be.

The TFS 215’s are some of the best heads out there, I run them on my car, you will be disappointed if you buy this kit though, there are much better options, buy the heads separated and have them setup better then buy a better cam then what they offer
