Reset oil life remaining warning?
C5 has this warning coming up, but oil has just been changed.
I have held down the reset button when the warning is showing up, and it changes to 'Oil life remaining ___"
but thwne I start the car again, it goes back to 'oil life 5%' warning again.
how do I reset this?
and no, I do not have a manual, it did not come with the car

Turn the ignition to position On without starting the engine. Scroll through the DIC Info Pages menu until the REMAINING OIL LIFE percentage is displayed. Finally, hold down the “SEL” or “RESET” button until the “Oil Life” display changes to 100 percent.
You can also turn the ignition to "on" don't start it - press and release the gas pedal
four times ... it will reset the %

mine does not always reset using the DIC ????

Do what laurent z06 says and the oil life monitor should reset. It always worked for mine.
