Quick question??
My serpentine belt is very old and needs to be changed, I recently found out that my harmonic balencer shakes a bit when I accelerate is that normal?? or do you guys think it’s shaking because I have an old serpentine belt and it’s not tight enough??????
Will a new serpentine belt help the harmonic balancer not shake or wobble at all ????

You need to replace both before the outer ring on the balancer departs your car. Your balancer is failing. Belt is secondary.
