Default Is my cargo partition stock?

New to the Z05 / C5 world. My Z06 has a cargo partition in it. And I can tell its not sealed against the adjacent surfaces. Is this a factory stock or dealer option? Or has some previous owner added this?

The partition is aftermarket. The Z06 didn't have compartment covers either.

Thanks. I guess the purpose is to keep things contained and noise reduction?

Yeah, I knew about the covers not being there like the other variations.
I do think lighting in the rear is poor. I'll change to LEDs and add some up near the partition too. Maybe both sides of it.

Yeah I believe the primary function of the partition is noise reduction, I don’t see what else it could be used for.

Took a close look at it this morning. Found snaps that go straight up in the trunk. The carpet on the trunk side matches 100% perfectly. That's why I didn't realize it wasn't OEM. Plus I'm a Z06 newb..

Definitely for noise reduction. I'm the second owner of my Z16 and it has one. I didn't realize how much difference it made until the day we laid it down to load a larger item into the car. When I started her up I thought the truck was still open. Don't even realize it's there for the most part.
