Lots of good stories in this thread, some very sad, some sad and happy. As a previous dog owner for many years I'll say that you won't find a more loyal and dedicated friend. I was so broken up at losing my 5 pound Maltese that I swore no more. Must be my age because I just don't want to go thru that again... OTOH, taking a drive in your Corvette, red which is what I really wanted, is a very good way to release negative feelings and grief. Takes your mind off the bad stuff for a while. I really enjoyed reading your post and am totally empathetic with all that you said. Thanks for posting. I wish you GOOD LUCK and keep your chin up my friend...
