I am currently looking for a C5 dbl din bezel, have done some research and not interested in the Metra beze. There must be someone that builds them other than Metra, I know of Apsis and Vettenuts. Are there any others. someone mentioned to me, Dr Vette or Mr Vette or something, he couldn t remember.
TIA
Apsis actually gets their cores from Vettenuts unless the customer provides their own. I am not familiar with any others.
If you want an OEM looking double din bezel, the Vettenuts seems to be the best available.

I have been reading the posts on the Forum for quite a while and Metra and Vettenuts seem to be the only one available currently.
If you are interested in just buying one I don't know where to send you but if you are wanting to have a new dd head unit installed you might ask the techs at a good audio shop near you.
My local audio shop modified mine for a new head unit I bought from them. Wasn't cheap but it's the original one.
He told me he's done quite a few of them.
It looks great!
Good luck!
I guess I’m just a tight wad when it comes to spending my hard earned money, but I just can’t see spending that kind of money on a plastic radio bezel that probably didn’t even cost $1.00 to manufacture over in China. Yes I do realize the reason for the cost is mainly in the time it takes modifying the bezel itself. I’m a do it yourself type guy and eventually would like to install a DD unit. I plan on modifying my bezel myself. Don’t you have to modify a vettenuts or metra one anyway to fit the particular DD unit. I know there not all the same sizes and vary between brands.

I have the Vettenuts. Look and fit are good, though not by any means perfect. Not sure if any aftermarket unit could every be of true OEM fit. I typed up my issues, but it read like a whine fest when actually I'm quite happy with the overall result. Only one whine to keep -- if you go with the Vettenuts, skip, skip, skip the useless plastic brackets. They snap at the first snug screw. Metal versions show up on E-Bay which look the business, or do as many others have and make your own. https://www.ebay.com/i/193053501324?...UaAn4QEALw_wcB

Thanks man. I think that Vettesnuts is out for me for me.
Just because. I don't want to get reprimanded by the mods again.
