03/02 PCV INFO NEEDED PLEASE
Do the 02 03 PCV's have a check valve installed or are they hollow the 01's have a check valve thinking of upgrading Someone lift the hood look on the right side and pull the PCV out can you see all the way through, if you can its hollow and you have the new style if not there is an upgraded one part # 12572717 that is hollow :cool:

NO, the '02's & '03's, have the PCV secured to the intake manifold.........UNDERNEATH.......epoxie d on.
Also, there is a TSB out for them IF your '02/'03 starts using oil excessively............take it to the dealer.......

With all due respect please go look at your car or a service manual the PCV is in the rubber hose attatched to the valley cover and the intake manifold it has two rubber lines and 1 metal pipe the pcv is in the fat part of the top rudder hose leading into the the manifold my stock 01 PCV has a check valve installed do the 02/03's have a hollow PCV or the check valve See ref Engine mechanical 5.7 unit repair chapter 6 page 423 or under the hood
