i just saw where Mustang group put together a new worlds record for most of them in one place at one time , is there one for Corvettes gathering in one place
Not sure but there sure were a lot of us at the 50th.
I'm not sure how that even could be beat. There were non stop corvettes on the highway going to and from Nashville and Bowling Green. Literally corvettes on both sides of the entire highway. Plus the cars parked at both ends, etc. it was INSANE.

That it was, throw in the parade and ZZ Top. Has to be the largest.
A fellow Corvette guy I know went to the 25th anniversary at the Corvette Museum. He said there was 7,000 to 10,000 Corvettes there. Tired to do some research on the numbers, didn't find anything to verify.
In 1999, I was with the Ohio Caravan.
During one of the legs, I set a personal best of 135mph on a public highway (Hey, just running with the others).
The night before Arrival Day, the southern caravans staged in Nashville and the northern groups in Louisville.
Louisville launched at the crack-of-dark because we were so much further away.
We created a continuous stream of Corvettes from north and south coming in to Exit 28 for over 8 hours.
We OWNED I-65.
We were parked on every square foot of the Museum's and the Plant's property.
From that experience, the Kentucky State Police asked that we do staggered arrivals in the future.
The estimates for the '99 Caravan (5th Anniversary of the Museum) was over 30,000 Corvettes.
Corvette 50th
Estimates of the number of Corvettes that showed up for the Nashville party varied from 6,000 to 10,000, with upwards of 20,000 people dropping in. https://www.winnipegfreepress.com/hi.../31371984.html
