Hey everybody - new to the forums and the corvette family. Bought a 99 coupe a few weeks ago (107k miles, auto). I've loved every second of owning it. It's had all the problems you might expect of a 20 year old car (warped rotors, old plugs, bad tires). I've enjoyed getting it up to speed and wanted to say thanks for all the helpful information I've received from the forums!
Congrats on the car and the work to keep it keeping on. My '03 was purchased with 109,324 miles on it Mar 29, 2017 for my birthday present to me. Now at 141,600 plus. I've changed lots of stuff on it and repainted the nose and still my #1 ride when I need to do something.
Congrats and welcome, the car look great, start with the safety basics, tires, rotors/pads, alignment/balance and all the fluids. Once you get bit by the aftermarket bug that sky is the limit.
Great looking “5”. I just went back to a C5 after my stint with a C7. Loved the car but missed my old 5 and wanted to get another. Bought my bone-stock ‘04 with 109 on the odometer and hope it serves me well. Wishing you well with yours. 👍🏻
