I’m looking for storage ideas. Where do you keep yours when not in use? Do you keep the long hoses connected to the power unit, or the lifts, or not at all?

Im sure it does and I’m not out of space yet but I thought long time users might have tried several different storage solutions. I’d like to have a situation where they take up minimum space but still easy access when you need it, doesn’t everyone! I’m wondering if anyone had tried standing them up and hanging them on a wall with heavy duty hooks. Again just wondering what people who have been using them a while have done.

I would just push them together slightly and leave them hooked up

I stand them on end against the garage wall. They lean against the wall but I have a bungee cord around them attached to wall hooks on each side (just in case). The pump is on a shelf and the hose are coiled on a wall hook.

I leave mine on the floor ready for use at any time.

They get used often enough on many cars that if I put them away all the time I would get tired of moving them. They are quite heavy.

I keep them hooked up to the pump. one jack is up against the wall on the floor and the other I put in the middle of the garage floor and it gets driven over.

Love this system.

I have the hoses suspended on hooks and connected at the pump.

I have the QJ hooks that the lift’s hang on. And yes I know I’ll have to paint my garage.

Closer look at the QJ hooks.

Mine stay on the floor under the wife's MDX. Disconnected with the pump on a shelf.

Those hooks are nice, I may check into those. Now what’s the story on all the medals hanging on the wall?

Who needs paint! You have drywall and probably insulation behind that!

Lifts on the wall and the pump and hoses in large plastic containers with snap lids.

I would say the QJ hooks look like the cleanest option, or another hook like it. I just got my QJs and will probably be ordering the hooks.

It appears you have pretty well maxed out that space. I probably won’t use the slide them together and park over them as that particular bay is not a space use for parking all the time and they would become a trip hazard. It sure makes for minimal work to set up though!

Not directly related to storage, but I found that sliding these into position all the time was ruining the paint on the bottoms, and I was afraid they might start to rust once the paint was gone and bare metal was exposed. I coated the bottoms of mine with that truck bed-liner stuff, and it's holding up well to the constant sliding around.

Same here. Just shoved together and park the C5Z on top of it. The car is pretty low but still clears by 1/16".

All the lines left plugged in & looped on the floor under the nose of the car, pump on the floor in front of the car.

Remote is hung on the wall in an easy to reach place. I do keep it unplugged (so no accidentally raising it).

Rubber blocks on a shelf just above the remote.

This keeps it super accessible and easy to use. I can have the car in the air in about 2min with this setup. Grab the blocks, pull the jack out the sides of the car, place blocks, slide under car into position. Plug it in, grab the remote and up in the air it goes. Boom!

I considered hanging them etc but don't like the risks inherent with wrangling the big heavy things around, risk of them falling etc.

Sometimes I just roll them to a corner in the garage and lay them down, other times I stand them up. But always disconnect the power unit. Depends what's happening in the garage when I'm putting them away.

I hang mine on the wall. Lagged a 2x4 to the studs and used some rubber coated screw in hooks.

The pump and remote are stored neatly in this Husky tool box. Keeps it clean and stores away nicely.

Hoses and blocks in a separate drawer in the roll away!
