Bit of a dashcam snob here. If you want the best, look at Vantrue, Thinkware, and BlackVue lineup. The Vantrue N2 Pro is my favorite dual-camera, high quality sensor, solid build quality, reasonable price model. The BlackVuew DR900s is the top dog if you want to spend baller money.

My first dash cam is the only one I've used. It's in my DD and is a feature on my Garmin 51LMT HD w/backup camera. (see my vids below posted in 1080p)
On my C5 I'm going to wait and change to a double din and add wired front and rear cams all at the same time.
