Worth? - LS6 rotating assembly
I got the call that the new engine is ready to go. I just need to bring the old windage tray and pump pickup to prime it and maybe I'll be able to bring it home this weekend.
So I just pulled the tray (at 1am) and got a good look at the rods / crank / underside of pistons on the outgoing LS6: they appear immaculate.
The car/engine have 63k miles. What failed was an exhaust lifter which popped a piece of the block out of the lifter bore when it went. That is why I am junking the engine.
So what's a fair ask for the crank / rods / pistons? I'm thinking a couple hundred?
