Anybody else’s C5 oil dipstick look like this?

I don’t remember it being twisted....is it supposed to?

I'm new to corvette so don't know if mine was not twisted before, my mechanic had no hesitation in saying it is normal, fwiw it's worth I also
own a 91 cadillac brougham with a 5.7, no twisting going on there.

FYI, designed to keep the blade in the center of the tube to keep from wiping the oil off the blade on retract
