C6Z shocks on C5Z
My car is lowered on stock bolts. The only con I see for me on this upgrade is the car raised just a tad with the shocks. The shocks compared to the C5Z are a little taller, so it makes sense it would be a little higher.

I just read all the posts I could find a month ago and did this upgrade (C6 Z06 shocks in C5 standard).
I had read the claims that these shocks will raise your car a smidge prior to the install. The Z6 z06 shocks do have quite a bit more pressure pushing out on their larger diameter pistons. In my case, it did raise the car about 3/16 of an inch. I measured my car before and after and my front air deflector no longer hits in some parts of my daily drive that it did prior to the swap.
Overall I like the change most of the time - unless I am on a long crappy road - then the softer original shocks would be nice.... Trade offs!
