Default Transparent Top Inner Liner

So I got tired of the heat coming through the transparent roof on my C6, so made this stick-on inner liner. Looks great, blockes the heat, seems quieter, easy to apply. It's 5mm self-stick foam with a liner material attached to it. PM me if you'd like one for your C5. I'd need you to send me a template of your glass.

As long as it sticks long term that looks fantastic.

I have the RPI one as well and it is removable. Does a good job. I honestly don't ever remove it.

HMMMM? Wondering how that foam will hold up to prolonged heat like we have here in South Carolina. I sold my transparent top because we got tired of being slow cooked.

It's intended for high heat. It's a good solution for folks that don't plan to remove it often.

Question for you. I just installed mine from RPI yesterday. Does yours bulge out in the middle? I think they made mine to big. I can push up on the middle around 3 to 4 inches before it hits the glass top.

To the original post. That does look nice. I should have done that.

The material I use is adhesive backed so it applies tight to the glass. No bulge. But it is not intended to go on & off repeatedly like those with suction cups. I can get you one ... FREE ... if you can send me a template of the inner glass.

mine bulges slightly as well. It’s def not a perfect fit but for only $100 it’s not that bad. I’m sure it made off a template so they are all the same.
