Default Stock hood alignment issues

Hey guys just picked up my new to me C5 a few weeks ago. Trying to tackle hood fitment issues on the car. So from the carfax the car hasn't been in any accidents and from what I can see I can confirm that. So the front of the hood was sitting lower then the front bumper and headlights, the middle of the hood sits higher then the fender and it seems to be ok by the cowl. I was able to adjust the stops at the front to get the hood to sit flush with the bumper and lights. I can't seem to find what is making the hood sit higher in the middle. The drivers side is better and there is no play in the when pressing down on the hood, its fully latched with no play. However the passenger side sits slightly higher and I am able to press the hood down about 5mm more at the latch point. So there is play on the one side when I press down. I've attached some pictures any help is appreciated.

There are 4 bolts mounting the hood to the hinges designed to have some adjustability. You can loosen those bolts and make pretty significant adjustments as well. That would be my next step if I were you.

I have the EXACT same issue with the right passenger side middle hood section being higher than the fender. Not quite as bad as yours based on the photo but close. I've looked at the hinges and bolts for adjustment but didn't adjust anything yet. Maybe someone has a tip or trick to this issue...

I think mine looks worse in the picture, but its still pretty significant and after taking another look today its seems both sides sit high in the centre. I may try the bolts this weekend and see if it helps. I've read a few threads on hood deformation and can't help but think that is the issue. The front sits flush, the rear sits flush but the centre bulges up......

Their are multiple ways of adjustment to get a proper fit. Even the rubber bumpers in front have a lot to do with getting it right. You could also unbolt the tops of the fenders to get even more adjustment.

you are going to have to play with the adjustment's until its correct....try to disconnect the springs and so forth opening and closing the hood each time to check...time consuming but worth doing
