I have seen some old threads about this and hoping there is some technology or options out there that will allow for what I may need. I am seriously considering a 2004 C5 and would be my first vette.. However, I have an insanely steep driveway and this car has a body kit and seems to be lowered as well (feels lower than my aunts ‘99). My wife’s CTS drags a bit at the approach and is sitting about 2” higher than the aunts vette. I have attempted to enter the driveway with the ‘99 but it hits the frame hard and cannot make it. I have tried every angle and even tried to back in to no avail.
Are there air adjustable shocks with a compressor available for the C5? I want to be able to raise the front end 3 inches (on-demand) just to enter and exit the driveway and then lower back down for driving...
any help is greatly appreciated!,

Thank you for the quick response.. I did but just not sure exactly how much angle I need. It would have to be removable because of the HOA and I have a storm drain next to the driveway so the county may have an issue with impeding runoff if they were permanent. Would have to be long enough to come at an angle as well..
You should be able to make that work without any modifications to the car. You will just have to cut a couple of serious angles in and out. And you will likely not be able to drive out, reverse only.
You could look at expanding the driveway on the left which would add you a bigger swing too; all the way over the sparse patch of grass.
It is the edge of my property line to the left and I took the ‘99 C5 over and it will not make it up at any angle. The slight depression for the gutter is likely the main problem. The pic shows the problem with the ‘99.
Once I get to this part of the frame - again, just getting started (or trying to) in the Corvette world I am not sure what this is yet.. but, once it hits it sticks
I saw someone mention AirREX before on another thread here, looked it up and the lexus guys seem to use this brand, although they mention they usually combine it with a different management system. I can post the link to the clublexus forum where they discuss it, but not sure if that's allowed.

If you are talking about those to silver bars in the center, those are for the lower air dam. I believe the are for reinforcement.
Yeah I was referring to the outer ones. If you zoom you can see the damage from hitting even gently. I am looking online and maybe some race ramps would work but not sure. Maybe I will take some 2x12 scaffold planks over and see if I can get it up there to testit first before buying ramps. Was hoping for an “automatic” solution but would prefer for less than the $4k airrex 😭

Oh, ok. I think just like sywayz mentioned, the frame saver wheels might work for you, idk. Yeah, that airREX suspension looks good, but its pricey, but saw a bunch of videos on youtube of different cars, ferraris, CTS-Vs and corvettes and seems to be good stuff. Here is a link to an Aston Martin with the Airrex, enjoy.

If you are talking about the damaged bars at the very right side of the pic, they are a part of the lower radiator support. Not uncommon to see them damaged. Not cheap to replace so I can see why you want a better method of being able to get into your driveway. Best of luck in finding a solution.
I'd try raising the car to the stock height, then give it a go.
Install radiator support sliders ('fangs') and don't be afraid to grind on them a bit. good luck!!
